Over the years, we have commonly sent out availability lists
in the form of Excel files to customers who wish to receive
our current lists. We've done this via e-mail directly in
an effort to not share e-mail addresses with third parties.
Recently, our messages have been blocked by some e-mail
servers and although we have authorizations in place
(too complicated to explain), it doesn't seem to matter.
So, now these pages will display here in the form of .pdf
pages, making it possible for blocked recipients to view
the pages.
Important:
Note that we may not receive any e-mails from Gmail.
Comcast is also blocked, so if your e-mail address is
at either one of these, please send from another address,
or give us a call.
These pages show availability, stock levels and prices from a handful of sources
that are scheduled to ship to LAX the following week.
Each different list is a different supplier. You cannot mix
and match to make up a box, you must fill a box from any given source.
Or one from every source!
The first link below is a schedule for the upcoming week.
Note arrival to LAX, you receive it the next day, unless a short flight,
in which case, there is a chance you could receive your shipment that evening.
Also note cut-off day, is usually Saturday for ordering.
These lists will be updated weekly, or almost so. Our newsletter has
been going out on Thursday evenings, so these pages will be scheduled to be
uploaded on Thursdays or Fridays.
Not all lists are updated though. Sri Lanka never updates, Fiji corals barely.
Most never change much and a 20 year old list would have a 90% fill rate.
Just the prices would be different. Low stock items are a lottery
to get normally when 10 or less, though often we get a good share of them.
The shipments are part of large shipments to mega big wholesalers
and stores mostly, so you are not the only one after the fish.
The earlier your order, the better the fill rate.
